This morning (Wednesday 7th September) Ōtākaro Studio was lucky enough to have Meikayla Moore from the New Zealand Football Ferns visit.
We welcomed Meikayla by singing 'Tihore Mai'.
Meikayla shared about her experiences of the Rio Olympics and the hard work she has put into pursuing her dream.
She even signed some of our things!
A group of children were chosen to have a mini skills session with Meikayla.
Holly and Zoe thanked Meikayla for coming and sharing her experiences with us.
A huge thank you to Meikayla for taking the time to speak with us. Everyone was truly inspired. We would also like to thank Mrs Forbes-Henry for organising the visit.
